Once again, I’m using my blog as a platform for shameless self-promotion, this time to promote the newest issue of the on-line magazine I created, 31. After a hiatus of more than a year, a new issue is up and ready for your reading pleasure!
The magazine started almost four years ago, when some friends and I got together to produce a little piece of literature for the Web, one that we knew would get published because we would publish it. Since then, it’s grown in popularity and the number of contributors has increased as well. It’s something we’re all very proud of.

Since then, it’s grown in popularity and the number of contributors has increased as well. It’s something we’re all very proud of.
Unfortunately, we were forced to go on hiatus when several of our contributors and our web designer had babies or otherwise became too busy to contribute—including yours truly, who had no spare time after enrolling in a Masters program.
I’m pleased to announce that 31 Magazine is back! We’ve got lots of great articles about books and reading, including book reviews, a Top 31 List, and The Grammarian. So check it out. Tell your friends. Send us feedback. Send us story ideas for a future issue. And most importantly, enjoy!
