My forays into the gay community of Washington, DC, continued last night at my friend Dave's annual Christmas party, featuring an amazing dinner and a rather competitive gift exchange. (Unlike last year's NYE party at Dave's, this time I was not the only woman in attendance.) Here I am pictured with my good friend Randall and his partner Mario--both delightful souls who always make me feel beautiful, interesting, and worth knowing. How is it that the gay men are better at that than the straight ones I meet?

It was a fun way to celebrate the Christmas season and gave me an excuse to get all dressed up for an evening out, even if none of the men there were checking me out. (Truth be told, that was probably a good thing, as the neckline of my dress kept puckering and slipping to show a little too much cleavage. Oops!) I think I looked pretty great, if I do say so myself!

well i think you always looked great kid-even after your 1st cycle up that big climb at port salon-would have preferred a full length shot here too -wished they could bottle whatever it is that you are on!
