Daydreaming & Hoping for Spring

This has been a long, long winter. Oh my, but it's been long. The cold weather has taken up permanent residence, the sun just flirts with us from so far away, and I think if I have to choose one more work outfit based primarily on what will keep me warm, I might vomit on all my sweaters. I hate always wearing so many layers.

In the midst of this bleak midwinter, I need something to help me hope for Spring. For warmth and new life and color in my surroundings. Today the sun was shining its little heart out and, although it was only 37 degrees Fahrenheit when I left the house, the air smelled ever so slightly of Spring.

Here are some photos (all snapped by yours truly) to remind me that Spring WILL come. It will because it must. Because I say so. Look at these, dust off your sandals, and dream of warmer times on the horizon.

Love the pictures! So lovely. I wish I wasn't suffering under a blanket of snow right now. BLEH.
