Last Friday, my nephews Elijah and Jonas came over for a much-anticipated sleepover. (Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures of our adventures.) We had pizza at a little cafe across the street, then came back to my place to make sugar cookies, using my special Star Wars cookie cutters. The boys, who are huge Star Wars fans, were in heaven.
While I was rolling out some dough for Jonas, he quipped, "M, you're the best aunt in the whole area."
In other words, there might be better aunts in Richmond, Charlotte, or somewhere in Minnesota, but in the Washington, DC, metro area, I'm at the top. Nice to know. Thanks, little dude.
