The Green Dragon Inn is a small pub of sorts built specially for the tourist tours. It's in the same style and with the same level of detail as the rest of the structures, but with a ceiling height to accommodate non-Hobbit-sized folk. We were offered a complimentary, locally produced ale or ginger beer (soda) here and had a few minutes to wander around the inn. This doorway overlooked the lake and beyond it, the green where Bilbo celebrated his 111th birthday. |
