I just discovered that the camera in my phone has a panorama setting, which has made for some cool photos. Among them is this one I took yesterday while we kayaked around Okarito Lagoon, on the west coast. Amanda was sitting in front, paddling, and as I panned across the horizon, the camera picked up portions of her strokes, creating the choppy effect you see in the photo. Click the photo to see it bigger and examine the paddle bits up close.
PS It was a fantastic kayak excursion, complete with jungle, a white Herron, fallen trees, glassy water and slightly rougher seas.
PPS It's awesome here!!
